Terms of Service
Effective date: April 10, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Mise platform ("Service"), operated by Mubangizi Moses ("we", "us", "our"), accessible at miseapp.app.
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Definitions
- Organisation — a business entity registered on Mise.
- Admin — the user who created the Organisation and manages billing.
- User — anyone granted access by the Admin (staff, chef, procurement, storekeeper).
- Data — all information uploaded, entered, or generated within your Organisation.
2. Account and Access
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. Each User must have a unique account — shared logins are not permitted.
3. Subscription and Payment
- Mise offers a 14-day free trial. No credit card is required to start.
- After the trial, you must subscribe to a paid plan to continue using the Service.
- Prices are listed on the billing page. We may change pricing with 30 days' notice.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card details.
- If payment fails, you enter a 7-day grace period. After grace, write access is suspended until payment is resolved.
- You may cancel at any time. Access continues until the end of the current billing period.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
- Attempt to access another Organisation's data.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Service.
- Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers against the Service without written permission.
- Resell or sublicense access to the Service.
5. Data Ownership
Your Data belongs to you. We do not sell, rent, or share your Data with third parties except as required to operate the Service (e.g., database hosting via Supabase, payment processing via Stripe) or as required by law.
You grant us a limited licence to process your Data solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service.
6. Service Availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Planned maintenance will be communicated in advance where possible. We are not liable for downtime caused by third-party providers, network issues, or force majeure.
7. Termination
- You may delete your Organisation at any time from the admin settings.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with notice where feasible.
- Upon termination, we retain your Data for 30 days. After that, it is permanently deleted.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claims arising from or related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you via email or in-app notice at least 14 days before changes take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
